Extra Removalist:

If you require an additional removalist for your Galilee Freight move (when more than 3 men are already on the job), it will cost an extra $40 per hour. Adding another removalist can be beneficial if you have any large or heavy items to move and can help speed up the process.

Oversized Items:

Please inform our office at the time of booking if you have any oversized items such as a piano, double door fridge, marble tabletop, front loader washing machine, treadmill, rowing machine, pool table, spa pool, or any items over 80kgs. These items may incur an additional surcharge, and sometimes require a third mover.

Moving outside of Auckland:

For removals outside of Auckland, Galilee Freight charges an hourly rate for loading and unloading. After that, the rate changes to a transit charge of $3.50 per kilometre. The transit charge is calculated from and back to our nearest Auckland border.

Insurance:

All Galilee Freight removals are at the owner's risk, which means no compensation will be paid for any losses, damages, or shortages. By accepting our services, you acknowledge and agree that the Contract of Carriage is at the owner's risk. This means that the company will not pay compensation if the goods are lost or damaged, unless the company intentionally loses or damages them. We recommend that you speak to your house and contents insurance provider for additional coverage.
